If you like rockin’ country there’s plenty here for you to enjoy. Christian’s powerful, confident vocals and descriptive songwriting shine throughout this wonderful project produced by Bob Ezrin and Jimmy Lee Sloas. The chorus to the pounding barroom anthem title track sums up this disc’s mood nicely – “Buckle Up tight, everybody sings and drinks and laughs and gets high, it’s a country music a little soul, it’s a rock ‘n’ roll rodeo, we don’t tolerate no sittin’ around, everyody’s dancing, grooving, and getting on down.’ Favorites includethe footstompin’ Callin’ All Country Women, uptempo rockers Whiskey In Mind and Seven Days, an interesting remake of Tracy Chapman’s Fast Car, and the catchy ballads Thinking Of You, Let’s Take A Drive and Let Me Go, which has a nice lyrical twist on the last chorus.
