American actor Christian Kane and Filipino-American director Dean Devlin arrived in Cebu Saturday morning to check possible filming locations for their upcoming US series.
The two landed at the Mactan Cebu International Airport around 7:30 a.m. on board a Philippine Airlines flight from Manila.
Ruel Bayani, ABS-CBN Head of International Production and Co-Production, arrived with the pair.
Upon their arrival, Kane and Devlin were greeted by airport officials and ABS-CBN Regional Head Veneranda Cinco-Sy and ABS-CBN Cebu Station Manager Leilani Alba.
The actor and director are in Cebu to conduct ocular visits for their upcoming US series “Off Tropic,” a-10-part series in which ABS-CBN is line producer.
The two are also in the Philippines for castings of Filipino actors for the series.
They are expected to start filming by November in Cebu.
